Membership in The Anusim Center
In August of 2014, a dream became a reality when the Anusim Center of El Paso, Texas formally opened its doors to the public in a very moving and exciting ceremony. The Anusim Center offers the world a place where the history, culture, and influence of the crypto-Jews is presented through educational programs, musical presentations, lectures, film, food, poetry, art, dance, photo exhibits, conferences, guest speakers and genealogical research. Those who want to learn and experience the world of the Anusim now have a place to congregate and be part of a community that shares a passion to learn about the beauty of Judaism.
Furthermore, those who wish to formally return to their Jewish heritage which was formally stolen from them during the Spanish Inquisition can do so through the guidance of Rabbi Stephen Leon.
